Crocheted plastic bag..bag
Bag crocheted from dozens of recycled plastic grocery bags that I cleaned, cut up, and "spun" into "yarn."

I've wanted to try knitting with plastic bags for ages, but I haven't gotten to that part of my "must craft" list. I think it's moving up on the list though...
I gathered a bunch of my plastic bags (Lobo even mailed me some of the yellow ones!). I washed & dried them. Then I rolled them up, cut off the top (handles) and bottom, and then cut the rest of the bag into about 1-inch wide strips. These strips are actually wide rings, since they are cut from the middle part of the bag. I then looped each of these rings together and balled up the "yarn" as I went.
The bag is rather strong, and washable, too.
