  I've seen them called scarflets or neck warmers. They are super cute, yes!
  
  I made a couple in this style www.etsy.com/view_listing.php for friends for Christmas, but with 2 felted thorns as fasteners... I did not come up with the idea myself but I can't find the original designer's name now. Poo.
  
  Alas, I have no photos of the finished pieces. I should bug my friends for piccies. They came out very nice, and were fast to crochet.

    I've always referred to them as 'the scarf that I made with too little yarn'. That's so clever, putting a button on, renaming and selling on Etsy!
