Is there a thread about making and adding rosettes to add to an existing shirt? I'd love to go get a $1 blouse from Goodwill and add rosettes. I've already figured that I should go multicolored as matching the shirt would be difficult. Does anyone know of a good tutorial or thread about doing this? I get the basics, sew a line down a strip of fabric and pull. But do I expose a raw edge? Is there a fabric, if I want that look, that will fray attractively? I don't want it to be too heavy, what fabric should I use?? Should I anchor the flower with one stitch or a broad area of stitches? What's the best type of fabric for the top?? Any advice would be peachy!
