I've used the Great Glass brand paints & liquid lead in the past and liked them very much. I purchased them at Michael's.

dont really know your style but you could always decorate them and put them in the trees in your yard. i saw someone do that with old windows. she antiqued them and put color glass in them and then sporatically placed them in the trees. Very pretty and GREAT sounds when rains hits the trees

You can paint on them and if they are small enough hang em in your current windows...use stain glass paint, enamel, acrylic etc...

I always thought it would be cool to black out the glass of a divided light window and then paint on both sides one as if you were looking into a house and the other as if you were looking out of it. Then set it up so you could see both sides.

I have a few old windows myself that I have yet to decorate, but my plan was to do stained glass mosaic on them, I remember being at a seafood restaurant where they had a lot of light and a bunch of old windows hanging that had been mosaic-ed and it was a beautiful effect. My friend Fran takes the glass out and puts in canvas board and paints on them. just some thoughts, will you post pictures of what you do?

thanks

I've seen old windows turned into a really cool coffee or end table. Add some trim around the sides and legs on the bottom. Then a sheet of glass on top to create a little display area between the top glass and the glass in the window. Photos, trinkets, feathers, its like a never ending collage in a table.

I have lots of old windows but they are put to more mundane use as cold frames in the garden.

Have fun.
