Wed, March 4, 2009 - 8:45 AMThe neat thing with a crafty exchange, is that its doesn't have to be expensive... I was thinking about this this morning on my way into work... it can be anything from a card that you have designed, maybe a knitted / felted flower clip, some type of collage from materials that you have available... to ???
My thoughts on this is that there is a cap on what is spent - taking into account postage etc... any other thoughts? -

Those of us who want to do a crafty exchange, send me a private message in my tribe box... I'll set up a sheet, and get either a random number generator, or have someone pull names out of a hat or.. or.. or... and we will go from there
Remember you don't have to spend a lot of $$ infact, i think a good cap $$ wise would be 10.00 max on supplies... the more you have around the house, the better... card stock, yarn, felt, string, beads... and remember too, that alot of stuff can still be found at 2nd hand stores, sometimes for under a buck!

Set one deadline for getting your name to the organizer, and another date by which the gifts need to be received. (I'm sort of looking for the second date to figure out if I have time to participate.) Thanks! -

That I think is up to you... I will be contacting everyone privately, with who you are crafting for. Male - Female etc... you then contact that person to find out at least what their least favorite and most favorite colors are... possible allergies (as in wool - mohair - angora...) then you get to crafting... let your imagination run wild!!! -

After March 17th, we will receive a name, address, and their favorite color, along with any allergies. Other than that, it is up to us to complete a craft, then send it to the recipient, no later than April 4. -
