My boyfriends mom gave me a bunch of her old clothes...some really amazing things...
There is a vintage very real Valentino trench coat that is oiled cotton, it has some stains and a rip in the back.
Whats the best way to clean it?
The best way to repair it. I was thinking a patch from the inside...or should I stitch it back together? .
She also gave me a bunch of vintage Chole & YSL silk shirts and dresses....they have stains around the collar and under the arms, how do I get these out? Drycleaning? Handwashing in the sink?

u will want some distilled water or boil about four gallons of water before starting.
then it needs to be determined what kind of fabric and the colors .
these will have to be clean one at a time but can't recommend until we see the clothing to determine what will work best.
air them out in the home first a day or more. One day right out then the next day as you would hang up clothing if ya have a fan turn it on so that it gets aired out well.
