I've become more and more inspired to try and reduce the amount of trash I throw away (apartment compost bin, cloth grocery bags, and of course classic recycling of bottles and paper etc). I have a temporary job working for my city's park system, bringing free toys and crafts around to different parks, and started collecting recyclables and tossables and crafty things to do with them (ecological and economical). Any suggestions?
Additionally, I've seen lots of purses and things woven from empty food containers. I found the thread about crocheting using plastic bags (awesome!) and wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas or patterns for that? I'm having trouble finding those instructions online!

Re: Reconstructed Revitalized Wabi Sabi Question.
Sat, June 30, 2007 - 8:03 AMI subscribe to a mag called back home, last year (2006), they had a kid craft article, it was how to make a purse and wallet out juice boxes (no recyclable) I don't remember the exact date, but at their site. www.backhomemagazine.com, they have an index, you may be able to get a copy of the article, it was very rudementary, and they were really cute, very clorful.
