I've been looking for a 'local' source for silk ribbon, the kind you use for embroidery. It's very delicate, but strong. I need to see the colors offered and online coloring is not always true. Even a wholesale source would be good, in fact it would probably be better.

Thu, July 30, 2009 - 10:41 AMMichaels in Santa Monica used to carry it, not sure if they still do. There's a huge Michaels, I think it is in the south bay? Another crafty store that is huge is Tall Mouse. I've only been there once so I don't know exactly where it is.

I think the Torrance store is the largest in So. Cal. It is aprox 72,000 sq ft in size

Have you asked if they could transfer some from another store? We used to do that all the time when I worked retail...
