I just looked at their web site and it looks like they dropped the jewelry making dept. They are strictly landscaping now.&#xD;
&#xD;
Santa Monica Civic Auditorium has an annual gem show. I don't know when but I'm sure if you go their site it will be listed under events.</summary>

if you are near Santa Monica, try Bourget Brothers. (Pico &amp;amp; 11th I think) It looks like a home improvement/construction yard but hidden side in the back is a jewelry supply area. They also have all kinds of stonesI haven't been there in 10 years so my info is old, but worth looking into.&#xD;

    <summary type="html">I am looking for a piece of green tourmaline. I am looking for a rough stone that I can use for a necklace. It should be at least 20 grams, around 2 inches long or so. It needs to be a fairy large piece to be the pendant of a necklace. Some translucent quality would be nice but it doesnt have to be gem quality all the way through. Can anyone help me out?</summary>
