I'm looking for cotton Gingham to make table clothes with. It has to be cotton and able to withstand multiple washings. Any ideas of where to look?

    lots of gingham here.....

but most are 65 % poly 35% cotton. Real good for durability and colour retention. they're in new jersey

If you're near LA, I'd say Michael Levine's in downtown

Will you be doing "chicken scratch' on it?

Need it for table cloths at the farmers market. The guys that work there aren't very gentle and tend to ruin the ones we have.

what about "ticking" ? It comes in several colours and is usually 100% cotton and it comes in different weights, usually medium to heavy. Its not checkerd but it is striped! I find it to be pretty durable.
