I was lucky and had some brown faux fur. So I have already got the leg/boot covers sewed and arm gauntlets.The wrap arond shorts/skirt I just cut a strip off and curved one end and added ties. And the tail is attatched.
I'm converting a old black t-shirt to make into armor. It's a pretty simple sewing project really.

tippi hedren from the birds....have some cool black birds from the dollar store but i'm going to give them glowing red eyes with led's and batteries. Have to stitch up the little suit she wore in the movie though.

Due to the fact that my legs don't work (since my back surgery in June - no explanation as to why yet), I've had to take an easy route this year. We'll be Barney and Betty Rubble from the Flintstones. I'll be making simple outfits from felt as it's easy to work with if I need to sew by hand, and the felt was cheap (since I am making no money due to my health right now). I'm hoping to be able to figure out a way to use my sewing machine without my legs so that I can get back into the sewing crafts that I like to do.

Hmm...are there any Vixens that are in wheelchairs without working legs out there that can give me advice as to how to adapt? Maybe I should start a thread to that affect. It's odd that it took me until now to think of it.

I am adding to my belly dancing costume that I made but with a Dia de los muertos feel to it.
My costume consists of a black bra with copper mirror pieces salvaged from an old neck lase and a pair of earrings, a tassel yarn belt with red, black and silver and white tassels and yarn falls, and a black and red vinyl under skirt .
What I am adding to it : new ruffle pants, garter style with solid black lace from thigh to toes, a black and white pin stripe shirt that stops just under the bust and it will have a deep purple tafetta ruffle neck.
And a matching purple tafetta and black velvet bustle over skirt.
My hat will have a skull, and some tafetta and feather detail.

I bought a black leotard that I will change and trim the neckline, and add the emblem and wings too (not sure if I should go for paint or wonder-under for the emblem).

Will make vinyl thigh high "stockings" that pair with matching pumps to create the illusion of boots (actually, I need some Vixen advice on that, will start another thread). Vinyl leftovers should be plenty for the choker and crown. I bought some yellow satin gloves on eBay, but I may have to dye them.

And that's it. Hopefully will be only a few hours of sewing and detailing. :)

have some small lights that run on battery to maybe work into my shirt or ????

will do black ringed eye makeup with extra black lines, shocked pallor look
