I personally would be cautious about taking that company up on the offer. I've heard a couple of horror stories about stolen designs that could be easily reproduced in China or Indonesia for pennies. I would need to have a well written contract signed by all parties.

I saw this ad on craigslist and thought I would share it: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/crg/678477408.html They are a fashion company looking to use your jewelry as product placement in their photos. In exchange, you get photos... is this some kind of scam for getting free jewelry or is this a valid way for creative companies to do co-marketing? Just wondering, let me know what you know or think... would this work for other industries?
